2020 Gibson SG '61 Reissue - Pelham Blue Custom

Want a killer SG no one else has....... here it is. 

'61 Reissues are very very good pro level guitars and at 4 grand new they are a good alternative to custom shop variants at 2-3 times the price. Full stop. End of debate. But hey - can they be better? YES. What makes our take on these special - well you'll never play another SG with a painted neck after you play this. There is something organically special in the feel and the look. If these were a production run out of the Nashville factory there would be a 10K tag hanging on it. The way we see it - this is cheaper than a new '61 reissue and about 300% more appealing. Unique guitars make for inspired playing - they make you feel good and subsequently inspire you to create. That's what makes these special.

As with all our in-house customised guitars - we only customise/ build guitars that we love and wish were factory produced but either are not or not any more.

All our custom guitars come with a West End Vintage and Custom Guitars hard case with serial numbered plaque on the case. 

Summary of works:

• Body refinished in Nitrocellulose (Wicked Witch Pelham Blue)
• Lyre Vibrola Added (stop bar delete)
• Neck sanded and refinished in clear nitro (Wicked Witch)
• Original everything else inc. 57' classic PAF's.
