1978 Fender Musicmaster Electric Guitar

So in 1956 Fender decided to release their version of a “student” guitar to the world. Enter the Musicmaster. In terms of awesome guitars these have carved out their own place in history - not as a student guitar as intended - but as a truely great guitar (Rory Gallagher I’m sure would attest to this).

This one sounds wicked, the pickup has enough output to compensate for the almost neck position. Clean it sounds well rounded and balanced, running through a cranked amp / OD pedal it sounds awesome and still articulate - not muddy.

This guitar is as much suited to rock as it’s is to shoegaze/grunge etc. It shows 48 solid years of playing in its finish, don’t let that fool you - frets have plenty of life, probably good for another 48.
