Rickenbacker Guitars

Rickenbackers have got a kind of odd musical provenance in terms of their players. They have never been seen as ‘the guitar’ to have, but there’s plenty of players who’ve made full use of their jangly poppy sound. The first band to really make them famous were the English popsters “The Beatles”, and they’ve never really dropped from the scene since.

Not cheap by any means, although not as pricey as some guitars. Many of the Rickenbackers on offer on eBay are either vintage models, or relatively modern custom or reissues that will set you back a few bucks, but if in good condition might be a sound investment.

Whether you want to make a few bucks, or just want to get your hands on an original Rickenbacker to emulate that sixties sound, there’s plenty available on eBay, just make sure that you know about how to bid and the available alerts before committing yourself to an auction.
