PRS guitars are slowly becoming more collectable and over recent years the prices have started to go up considerably, and not just for the customs, but for the original standard issues.

Price rises may be due to guitarists finally realising that its all about the guitar itself, not the BS you hear from so many players about who’s been seen playing them. They are probably the most crafted guitars on the market, not subject to the lack of quality in components and construction that has afflicted some of the big names due to over production.
