The guitar has been in production since it’s was first launched at the start of the 50s. Early models, produced prior to the 1965 CBS buy out of the company are the most sought after, but guitars produced after are also highly collectible.
The era saw many changes to the guitar’s design and mechanics, as well as an explosion in styles and colors. Given the lack of pre CBS Telecasters, ones from the following decade and a half are quickly growing in desirability and value.
